An easy and delicious addition to your supper!
I love bread.
It’s just as simple as that. I like to blame it on my mom. I can’t remember a time growing up when we didn’t have bread with a meal. Meat, potatoes, a vegetable and, of course, bread. It’s just what we did.
Croissants, French bread, Italian bread, rolls, biscuits, Yorkshire pudding – I don’t discriminate.
My love for bread only grew when I met Drew. His grandmama makes homemade bread for us every time we go to see her. And I think my mother and sister-in-love may love bread more than I do, if that’s possible.
I say all of this to tell you that I found yet another kind of bread to obsess over. I give to you, the cheesy garlic breadstick. AKA – my favorite thing ever. You see, just under my love for bread is my love for garlic. Combine those two with cheese and I can’t even.
This bread is so easy that it’s dangerous. I could easily add some marinara to dip these breadsticks in and call it a meal.
Just cut that bread loaf in half, spread some melted butter on it, sprinkle some garlic and add some cheese! Done in about 15 minutes.
I made these on Tuesday night to eat with my salad. See, the healthy salad balances out the butter-y, cheesy, kind-of-unhealthy breadstick. Just trust me on this.
