Now that it is officially Fall, I can start decorating my house and plant a few mums and pansies on my front porch. I guess Fall is my favorite time because I feel like my house has been deprived of decorations and warmth since Christmas. Fall is also the time for all things APPLES!
I’ve felt a bit like Bubba from Forrest Gump this month with all of my apple recipes…apple this and apple that, apples baked this way and apples baked that way. But aren’t apples the best? They are the most versatile fruit and I love using fruits that are in season.
I found this recipe on Pinterest a few months ago and was dying to try it. I showed it to a few friends of mine and they all agreed that it should be made as soon as possible. I’m glad I listened to them because boy, it was good.
This bread is loaded with chunks of apples and layered with brown sugar and cinnamon. Sign me up!
