All the yummy flavors of chicken enchiladas in one easy dip!
Remember the good ol' days when the only trash talkin' on your Facebook page was between a Carolina and a Clemson fan?
Can we get back to that?
This election has been so divisive and I've heard scathing comments and words from both sides. Over the past few days I've thought about my friend, Paul, and his letter to the church at Ephesus.
"As a prisoner of the Lord, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to one hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
I'm working through Priscilla Shirer's study on the Armor of God and she really drives home the fact that the enemy will do anything he can to create division within the Church. Sadly, I see this happening now. I pray that we will all take Paul's words to heart this week: Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Ok, let's talk about something that isn't so divisive - something that we can all agree on.
Chicken Enchilada Dip.
Y'all, this is SO good! I made this dip for our bible study the other night and then Drew and I ate the leftovers for supper the next night! It's got everything you love about Mexican food - enchilada sauce, black beans, corn, chicken, and of course, CHEESE.
I love to make it with shredded chicken. I just throw three chicken breasts in a small crock-pot, sprinkle in some taco seasoning and salsa and let it cook on low for about three hours. I only add about a cup to this recipe and I use the rest of the chicken to make taco salads and quesadillas. So good!
"Peace to the brothers, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love." Ephesians 6:23-24
