An easy dessert that you can make in 10 minutes!
Candy Bar. Ice Cream. Pie.
Just let those glorious words sink in, y'all. This pie is too easy...I've made it twice in the past week and I'm trying to think of a reason to make it again this weekend! It's a homemade (or store-bought) chocolate cookie crust filled with vanilla ice cream and chopped up candy bars. DELICIOUS.
The past two times I've used vanilla ice cream, Butterfinger and Reese's peanut butter cups. I let the ice cream soften up a little bit in a large bowl, chop up the candy bars into small-ish pieces and then mix it all together. Pour the ice cream mixture into your pie crust, let it firm up in the freezer for an hour or so and BAM you have a yummy dessert!
Here are the top 5 reasons why I think you should make this pie this weekend:
1. It's fool proof! Since all of the 'ingredients' are store-bought, you literally cannot mess this pie up.
2. It's a crowd pleaser. Seriously, do you know of anyone who doesn't like ice cream and/or candy bars? No, you don't. And if you do know someone like that, you should find help for them.
3. You can change it up! Don't like Reese's or Butterfingers? No problem! You can use Heath bars, Snickers bars, Milky Ways...whatever you like! What about using coffee ice cream and chopped up Reese's peanut butter cups?
4. You can make it ahead of time. There's nothing I love more than a dessert I can knock out before my guests come over. One less thing I have to worry about!
